You have probably heard a lot about IP address or simply IP. Well, it stands for Internet Protocol. Your IP address is like your device's unique mailing address on the internet. It allows your computer or phone to communicate with other devices and websites. Each IP address on its own is uniquely different. With an IP address, you can pinpoint a certain location where a particular web traffic may be coming from.

How to Check IP Address

To check your own public IP address that websites see, you can:

Visit https://www.whatismyip.com/. It will automatically display your public IP address. The website also allows you to search for any other IP address to extract the location and any other information available.
