Priced at $995, the Motocompacto pays homage to the classic Honda Motocompo motorcycle from the early 1980s.

The original 1983 Honda Motocompo was a diminutive gasoline-powered motorcycle specifically crafted to fit into the trunk of a small car, providing drivers with a convenient means to navigate city environments.

The front wheel motor of the Motocompacto has a capacity of 490W, and it boasts a modest top speed of 15 mph (25 km/h). The battery, listed as 6.8Ah, lacks specific information on the system voltage, making it challenging to determine the actual battery capacity.

Charging the battery with a 110V charger reportedly takes 3.5 hours, and the scooter includes onboard storage for the charger, offering convenience for recharging at the office under a desk.

According to Honda, the Motocompacto is ideal for maneuvering through cityscapes and college campuses. Designed with rider comfort and convenience in mind, it features a comfortable seat, secure grip footpegs, a digital speedometer, a charge gauge, and a handy carry handle. An innovative phone app allows riders to customize their settings, including lighting and ride modes, via Bluetooth.
